Pottery & Raku Firing Workshop Gift Vouchers

A unique and exciting gift suitable for adults of all abilities.

I run my adult Pottery & Raku firing workshops from my garden studio in Chickerell, Weymouth. I have a maximum of two students at a time so each person has as much tuition as they need.

My workshops are split into two separate sessions approximately two weeks apart, to allow students work to dry completely and be bisque fired in my electric kiln in preparation for the second session.

I usually arrange session two with my students when they come for session one to allow them maximum flexibility.

​

Session One : A relaxing 2.5 - 3 hour pottery class where you will learn a number of hand building and surface decorating techniques to enable you to build a ceramic master piece of your own.

​

Session Two : Approximately 3-4 hours long. In this session you will learn how to glaze your own piece and join in with the ancient and exciting Raku firing technique.

 You can then take your piece home.

​

Aprons, tea , coffee and soft drinks are provided.
